I want to copy all of my custom Tool Sets, Profiles and Stamps over to another computer…
I want to copy all of my custom Tool Sets, Profiles and Stamps over to another computer. How do I do that?
To move your custom Profiles and Tool Sets, you can create a Backup file of all of your settings and then transfer that file to the new computer and Restore the settings there.
On the Old Computer:
- Within Revu, click Help at the top and then choose Administrator (or you can search your PC for the Bluebeam Administrator).
- Click the Revu tab.
- Close Revu itself if it’s open and click the ‘Backup Settings’ button in the Administrator.
- Save the file to a location of your choice.
- Click ‘Yes’ when prompted and click ‘OK’.
- Transfer the Backup file that you just created to the new computer via email, flash drive or network drive.
On the New Computer:
- Within Revu, click Help at the top and then choose Administrator (or you can search your PC for the Bluebeam Administrator).
- Click the Revu tab.
- Close Revu itself if it’s open and click the ‘Restore Settings’ button.
- Browse to and select the Backup file.
- Click ‘Save’.
The default location for the Stamps folder is not included in the Settings Backup. You will need to copy it from the old computer and move to the new computer separately. Here is the default Stamps folder location:
For 2015 and lower: %ProgramData%\Bluebeam Software\Bluebeam Revu\Stamps
For 2016 and higher: %ProgramData%\Bluebeam Software\Bluebeam Revu\[Revu version]\Stamps
Revu fonctionne avec Citrix et autres services Remote
